Mrs A Islam-Wright vs Arts Council England and Craig Ashcroft
Employee brings ACE to employment tribunal on grounds of victimisation
Mrs Afreena Islam-Wright, an employee at Arts Council England, was allegedly disciplined for signing a petition against the now former ACE employee, Denise Fahmy, and any other staff referred to as 'gender criticals'.
Ms Fahmy brought ACE to employment tribunal in 2023 on grounds of claims of harassment and victimisation after supporting a grant to the LGB Alliance, with the tribunal ruling unanimously in her favour.
