The MPTS Tribunal of Dr. Helen Webberley
The impairment and sanctions phase of the tribunal began on 6 June 2022 and heard testimony from Dr. Helen Webberley and submissions from counsel for the MPTS and Dr Webberley. This phase is expected to resume during the week of 13 June 2022.

Gillian Philip vs Working Partners and Harper Collins
Gillian Philip’s employment tribunal claim against both companies alleges she was discriminated against because of her age and for holding and expressing gender-critical views. There was a preliminary hearing to establish if the claim would proceed. That hearing was concluded. No time frame has been given for the judgement in the preliminary hearing.
Anniversary of ‘Worthy of Respect’
Maya Forstater is awaiting the judgement from her employment tribunal claim against think tank ‘Centre for Global Development’. There is no date set. One year on from the Employment Appeal Tribunal decision that established that gender critical beliefs are worthy of respect in a democratic society and protected belief under the Equality Act - we revisit the live-tweet threads from the full merits hearing of Maya’s case.

Freedom of Information Appeal against the Crown Prosecution Service and the Information Commissioner
An application was made by a freelance journalist under the Freedom of Information Act with regard to the hate crimes pack for schools to the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS). This was refused under section 36 of the Act - prejudice to the effective conduct of public affairs. The Information Commissioner (ICO) upheld the CPS refusal and the freelance journalist is appealing. Judge Buckley is presiding with two panel members. No date has been published for the results.
